Tesoro Gorup is assisting a long-time client with the hiring of a Registered Nurse in Minneapolis, MN

Pay rate up to $47hr!

Responsibilities/Job Description

• Maintains current assessment and documentation using progress notes of assisted living /memory care resident health status
• Implements new and updates current resident care plans
• Coordinates resident health services with internal/external providers and getting orders as needed
• Leads and supervises timely and accurate medication and treatment administration
• Acts as support to Director of Health Services RN, DHS
• Monitors work and performance of licensed and unlicensed support staff

Qualifications Required:

• Current MN RN license or by start date

  • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice

• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Preferred:

• Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
• Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
• Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
