Our Wound Care department is actively searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to demonstrate the ability to administer safe, competent nursing care. The LPN practices with a limited degree of independence in judgment and decision-making with actions and practices supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN practices in accordance with the ANA standards of Nursing Practice and Code of Ethics. Direct and indirect activities are incorporated to facilitate this process, both within the unit and interdepartmentally. The LPN works within the State Practice Act and follows all Curative, Wound Care Center and Atlantic General Hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have an active LPN license through the Maryland Board of Nursing and a current Healthcare Provider CPR certification. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Two years prior experience in an Acute Care setting is required, Ambulatory Care experience is desirable.
