With MedAid Staffing, LPNs will engage in multi-faceted and diverse work environments and gain exposure to a variety of nursing needs. MedAid LPNs acquire cross-functional work experience and knowledge to advance their nursing backgrounds and increase exposure to a wide range of acuity levels.
Responsibilities:* Provide direct, primary nursing care to Residents.* Delegates and supervises the care provided by certified nursing assistants.* Makes rounds to evaluate status of Residents and determine resources.* Work with unit nurse managers to obtain necessary materials and assistance.* Identify, report and document incidents.* Adheres to facility policies and procedures.* Reviews, transcribes, communicates and implements physician's orders.* Monitors nursing care activities of subordinates.* Administers medications.* Collects specimens as ordered.* Makes rounds to assess Residents' status and evaluate care.* Practices and assures staff adherence to infection control policies.* Respects Resident rights; protects Residents from abuse or neglect.
Qualifications:* LPN license in Wisconsin* Minimum of 1 year experience* Reliable transportation and working phone* Familiarity with medical software and equipment* Ability to perform in fast-paced environment
