Travel LPN - $44/hr

Job Title: Travel LPN - Long-Term Care Facility

Location: Grand Junction, CO

Hourly Rate: $44/hr

Contract Term: 8-week terms, with potential for indefinite extension

Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility setting.

2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

3. Monitor and assess residents' health status, documenting observations and reporting any changes to the supervising RN or physician.

4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.

5. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.

6. Maintain accurate and complete medical records according to facility policies and regulatory guidelines.

7. Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and continuing education opportunities as required.

8. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to long-term care nursing practice.

Requirements:

1. Valid LPN license in the state of Colorado.

2. Minimum of one year of LPN experience, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.

3. BLS certification (current).

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

6. Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.

7. Reliable transportation.

8. Willingness to travel and work on a contract basis.
