Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides services to clients by the State Nurse Practice Act, agency policy, and accepted professional standards of practice. The Private Duty Nurse provides nursing services utilizing a comprehensive base of nursing theory and nursing process and communicates/documents observations and assessments.
Registered Nurse - RN Visit Nurse Responsibilities:
- Assessing and re-evaluating the client’s condition and needs as required.
- Provide patient care according to the client’s care plan and needs.
- Teach the client and/or family members about care and support skills.
- Communicate regularly with RN Case Managers, Supervisors, and the Care Team.
Registered Nurse - RN Visit Nurse Qualifications:
- Possess a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Minnesota.
- Trained in skills necessary to provide nursing care for various medical conditions.
- Demonstrate basic computer knowledge and aptitude for learning company applications.
